Fantasia Orchestra makes debut at Northern Aldborough Festival

We were delighted to make our debut at the 30th edition of the Northern Aldborough Festival last night with soloist Alim Beisembayev!

The programme was a journey through the rich, emotional landscapes of Romantic music. We opened with Tchaikovsky’s deeply moving Serenade for Strings, a piece that always tugs at the heartstrings with its lush harmonies and lyrical melodies. Alim Beisembayev then captivated the audience with his masterful interpretation of Chopin’s 1st Piano Concerto, bringing the composer’s passionate and intricate work to life.

Our rehearsals were featured on BBC Look North, bringing a behind-the-scenes glimpse of our preparation to a wider audience.

We are thrilled to have opend the festival and look forward to many more performances in the future. Thank you to everyone who attended and made this night unforgettable!
