Newbury Spring Festival debut

Fantasia Orchestra made its debut at Newbury Spring Festival this month with a programme of moonlit music. The concert culminated with Schoenberg's iconic Verklärte Nacht, and the first half featured the Clarinet Concerto of Gerald Finzi, who was local to Newbury. Clarinettist James Gilbert was the soloist, and we were pleased to play to a packed St Lawrence Church, Hungerford.
