Sotheby's Jubilee Arts Festival

Fantasia Orchestra was a partner organisation in the Sotheby's Jubilee Arts Festival 2022. Celebrating the alchemy, diversity, and excellence of British creativity, the Festival featured exhibitions and events spanning the visual, performing, and literary arts, gathering figures advancing and reinterpreting Britain's treasured cultural legacy.Four principals from the orchestra performed a string quartet lunchtime concert; we led two children's workshops as part of the Family Day; to close the festival, we gave a multi-genre orchestral concert featuring Sheku Kanneh-Mason (cello) Braimah Kanneh-Mason (violin), and Plinio Fernandes (guitar), with bespoke arrangements of Bach to Bob Marley by Harry Baker.
