Fantasia Orchestra makes its debut at Snape Maltings as part of the Summer at Snape Festival, a landmark moment in our tenth anniversary year.
Set in one of the UK’s most iconic concert halls, we’re joined by mezzo-soprano Niamh O’Sullivan for an evening of orchestral song that spans genres, decades and emotional worlds.
This programme is a love letter to twentieth-century song in all its forms. From the soaring romanticism of Alma Mahler and Richard Strauss to the bittersweet elegance of Cole Porter and Stephen Sondheim, it brings together musical landscapes that rarely meet, united here in a single, expressive arc.
At its heart, this is a celebration of the voice. Intimate, powerful and endlessly expressive, in one of the country’s most extraordinary acoustic spaces.
Join us for a special evening as Fantasia Orchestra makes its Snape Maltings debut.
